Hi Russ

Sorry only just seen your message. Rocker cover sorted as picked up period engine with correct number so okay now in that front, but still need a correct dated switch. Will double check on date required.

Re: "New" Van [or next project!!]

Hi Starider

Love the new van project. Don't see many of these around if ever, but I do remember the DAF33 Variomatic from the 1970's, and really liked them. They were quite an innovation. (PS hope you don't mind me posting a photo of it..nice one!)

Re: Bulkhead plates

Hi all On the subject of posting photos, the file size is not very generous. I’ve found the best way is to get the photo onto your phone either as a web download or taken yourself, then email it to yourself. Then save the email image again to your phone or other device. That then is the image to upl...

Re: Electric LCV Morris Vans.. !!! ?

Very true..although most LCV’s have died at least once and made a comeback. I can’t see us doing that! You’re right about the lithium. There is nothing environmentally friendly about it, apparently they are using slave labour to mine it and you can’t get rid of it safely. If 32 million cars had 3 ba...

Re: Rear panel..

I don’t think this flange is a welded one ( think I’m right in saying that ?!) but the lower horizontal flange at each end of the inner panel welds to the outer panel end lower lips each side and is also welded to the quarter panel bottom flanges so ties it all in.

Engine Rocker Cover and Ignition Seitch

Hi All

Can anybody help with a Rocker cover. The type with the breather take off, but not with riveted badge plates but slightly later stuck on labels.

Also a centre ignition switch hopefully dated August/ September 1968.

Re: Posting pics

A couple of tips if you’re wanting to upload a photo to the forum! The permitted file size IS quite small so uploading directly from cameras usually won’t work and will display an error. Always use your phone camera, and the best method to post a photo is, take the photo, then EMAIL it to yourself. ...

Re: Rear panel..

Hi Gents, has any one got any pics of a inner rear panel or total length of panel because I have to re make my one. Many thanks Matt. Hi Matt Total length is 54” spot on, overall height is 4” plus an angled flange at the bottom. As you can see the centre section is quite different to accept the out...
