Well folks it's been some time from me, :P
so sit back and read on, you know it will be long from me........... so hear goes!!
How we all doin'? seems we are getting things done which have been waiting for a little spare time,
well it's here,
lot's have been done at Freddy Rd had to empty the old shed,my goodness............ so much stuff!!
new shed now in place a big '10x8' sitting proudly at the top of the garden and started to sort 'stuff' out
filling it which should not be such a big a problem,
sorted out some 'tin work' which has to be re-homed, it's amazing when you start sorting things out
how many things you find which have been forgotten about
so the new phylosophy...(that don't look right do it)?
if it has not been used or moved in 12 months.... it's gone.
would you believe it 3 yes 3 roof racks.....why!?
I need to do an 'autojumble' when this nonsense is done with,
the garden...........never looked so good...........housework,
now that is a word all blokes should truly avoid
had a fight with trying to change the paperbag in the cleaner,
why do our better halves make it look so simple?
logical you would think for an engineer....not,
it won !!..........now it's down the back of the old pantry
now that's something else to address,
there is 'stuff' in there that would kit out a whole house I am sure of it,
next week we start on "Ughie" down at Mom's now we can get closer and in groups,I have bought a cover for
'Garfield' so when he is in the rented garage he won't get wet...yes you've guessed it.. it leaks,
so the long awaited work begins on getting "Ughie" , back to his old self with new almost everything,
except a paint job........... that is where the dilemma is ,
something we are battling with, the age old question?!
do we keep his patina from a lifetime of work,or, do we get rid of all that history what do you all think?
with a new paintjob what do you all think...........that's it for now.
Keep safe, sane and well and you know where I am if you need a chat and it's free!!??

:D Oh don't go into the way we ladies can hoard things into the smallest spaces!! And hoover bag troubles.....

I am one of the 'keep it as is as much as possible' folks! But it will look stunning with new paint or carefully managed old paint!

I value that opinion thanks,
I thought by keeping it's patina
it would match my 'rugged' look and wrinkles ha!ha!
more opinions appreciated...the car finish........... not my wrinkles....very funny!!

Original paint or patinaed respray? Are you happy with the color? If it's mostly presentable and can be preserved I would. I was never happy with the paint on MMPU for the twenty years I had her. This was the year I was going to return it to the original grey or something close. That woman in the Toyota made it a moot decision last fall.
How about some pictures of the patina?

you all know me by now with a 'PC'............thick,
now we have a new one even worse,............but there is always hope!?
John who set it up for us is giving us 12 month's tuition,so,
what happens worldwide......you guessed it!
but when things have eased he is going to spend a day with us
and instruct us on how to save, send, attach thingy's and whatsits etc,to whatever!??
I have loads of pic's I would like to share........... we have now been in 'lockdown' since Feb'
climbed every wall so far,gardened,housework.....yuk!
but bonus has been new shed and finding hidden treasures.
An easing off about
mixing with family on Monday, so with what little common sense I have ?
I hope we will enjoy a new sense of freedom.
Stay safe and well all of you,
keep talking to each other
it is important at times like this,
a problem shared and all that.
all contact details in mag'............ let's hear from you!
even if you just want to have a general chat feel free.

Where are these pictures you’d like to share Brian, if they’re on your device, you’re half way there already! Click attachments at the bottom of the page where you write your posts, it should then take you to where the pictures are, then you can select one and place it in line. I’m no computer buff but a friend of mine in IT said, when I was figuring something out, just have a go following your instinct, you can’t do any harm. I could be months before John is out and about. Go on try it, we’re Lcv men, we can do it!! :D
