Regrettably having to sell my 1971 Morris van due to medical reason. Purchased 18 months ago to use as run around for collecting spares for my other restoration. MOT'd until JULY 2016, (welded up o/s front inner wheel arch for MOT) no advisories, was in good running order but during winter service in November found by-pass hose leaking, went to replace and outlet pipe fitted in head had all but corroded away, so took head off to replace and do de-coke. However because of back problem will be unable to finish repair work for 6-9 months, so feel I need to sell van so that it does not deteriorate. Recently fitted alternator kit, new leads, plugs and ignition parts, tow bar fitted. Was resprayed before I purchased it but not very well several runs etc but usable no rust showing through.. Non original seats fitted. Alloy wheels not included back on steel. My plan was to finish other morris restoration and then take this off road for complete rebuild. Needs trailering away, Can be contacted on 01737 772118 if other info required, can be viewed. Located in Redhill, Surrey. Offers around £3500

Thanks frosty (magician)!
Re: Selling 1071 van
Well done, Frosty, thankyou very much. You only have to mention f-b to my machine and it closes down of its own accord! Like Les, I therefore can't go there.

TFM is a late (April 1972) Post Office engineers van in lovely Golden Yellow (Golden Yellow - doesn't come out very well)!!

That may be so Russ, but not for me it isn't, I hate Facebook with all the 'look at me' people and trolls. It does have it's uses for organising events though, I do a lot of my Stationary Engine events through Facebook. I think out of all my 296 'friends' I have unfollowed 150 of them with all the tripe they post.RussLCV wrote:The Minor LCV Register's facebook pages are far more popular that the forum guys!
Give me a forum anyday

Cheers

Re: Selling 1971 van
I prefer forums myself though I do venture onto Face Book from time to time. I think forum users are more friendlier and there are fewer trolls too.
