I Folks,
Iknow this is a 'long shot' but does anyone out there have a metal

Thanks,

Interior or exterior? My PU came with an exterior visor, see my avatar. I don't think it was original equipment. The truck spent part of its life in California where such customization was probably common. I don't have any interior visors or really much of any interior trim. No headliner, mats or carpet, door panels and pulls are homemade, no parcel shelf, interior lights. You get the picture. Were there interior visors? I have some holes from sheet metal screws in the header bar that may have been from visor mounting.
Did the driver's side glove box have a door? Mine does but it's an odd color and seems pretty useless being partly blocked by the steering wheel. I put a small instrument panel in that location on a previous coupe I owned with a tach and oil and temp gauges.

Brian will be referring to a metal (external) visor, the interior visors are of a fabric construction rather than metal.

and no bumper overriders and if anyone knows what one is?? a climactic carb'????

If you are intent on putting one of them there sunshades on Ughie, Just remember not to get too close to traffic lights cos you often can't see them! I had one on a van back in ancient times and binned it in the end - not impressed ( not quite as unimpressed as with headlight peaks which can do enormous damage to peoples' legs or childrens' throats if you unfortunately come in contact with them)!

Please send me some rain.........................
