I am reasonably sure they never made a Minor 1000000 LCV????
TFM is a late (April 1972) Post Office engineers van in lovely Golden Yellow (Golden Yellow - doesn't come out very well)!!

Hello Guys & Gals, :D
Just thought I would drop in to see how yo'll were doin', :?:
Hope you are all keeping safe and healthy, :!:
we are still isolating as we are both at risk but have ventured a short drive today

the world does seem a strange eery place,
our "new" car has done 48miles since February!! :?
how crazy is that........ at this rate We shall never wear it out,
good news is Russ has managed the oracle again :o
and you will be receiving your next mag' very soon
it has been very difficult for him not having
rally reports etc to fill the pages, so, may I ask you all a very BIG favour ;)
send him some photo's,
stories, material, words even for the next one as that will also be a struggle
without your help to coin a very
old saying from Kitchener "your magazine needs you"!!
Tomorrow I will go and see Mom in her house for the first time in a very long time ,that will be strange !!
as we are a family who likes a hug.............what do I do?
Be kind to one another and keep talking to people, some who can get very lonely.
Warmest Regards,
Brian, 8-)

I've 'sneaked' out a couple of time in my GPO moggie but not broken the five mile limit we've had here in Wales until last Monday.

'Kitchener' - I remember him well - I knew him many many years ago! He was my superior when I was first commissioned as a not long out of school youngster - hated being referred to as 'Lord Kitchener' he'd say 'my title is 'the Earl Kitchener of Khartoum'. Not many left who can say 'I served with Kitchener' - he passed on some years ago and the title with him as he had never married. Happy days.

Now back to sorting out a pile of early Harvey Frost 'GPO' screw jacks I've just acquired.
